One of the best ways to get around Port Douglas is on a bike.
Bike shops in town have a large range of bikes available for hire. Road bikes, mountain bikes, mens, ladies, tandem bikes and electric bikes. There are tracks all over town and the roads all have bike lanes making it very safe and pleasant to cruise around the town at your leisure. The flat sands of Four Mile beach make an excellent ride all year round with high tides only limiting access on odd occasions.
Motor Bike Hire
A great way to explore Port Douglas, Australia and also the region surrounding it inlcuding the rainforest, beaches, tablelands and of course the village of Port Douglas itself is to rent a scooter or motorcycle. It is more fun than a rental car and you have the freedom to tour wherever you want.
