Yes, we have three medical clinics in Port Douglas as well as a hospital in Mossman – a 15 minute drive away.

The Port Douglas Marina is 750 metres from our front door, less than a ten minute walk away. Alternatively a couple of minutes drive and you are there with loads of free parking. Markets are held here every Wednesday from 12-6 pm and you’ll also find plenty of dining options overlooking the inlet.

The Sunday markets are held 700 metres away at the other end of Macrossan Street.

Yes we have a bottle shop across the street from us.

Cape Tribulation is about approximately a one hour and 45 minute drive. It’s 45 minutes to the Daintree River Ferry and once on the other side you’ll be on a winding, paved road through the rainforest.

Mossman Gorge is a 20 minute drive north of Port Douglas. Once you enter Mossman you will see a big sign on your left for Mossman Gorge, it is only a couple of minute drive up this road to the visitors centre.

Approx 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is a beautiful drive along the scenic Captain Cook Highway so allow time for stops.

Anytime – Summer months are called the Green Season with the tropical rains where everything is lush, Winter months are a good time to get away from the cold of southern states with warm sun filled days in Port Douglas.

The Tropical North Queensland temperatures are very dependable. During the cooler winter months of July and August the average high is 25°C (77°F) with an average low of 17°C (62°F) overnight. In the hotter summer months of December, January and February the average high is 31°C (87°F) dropping to 24°C (75°F) overnight.
